Animal Rights Not Considered

When you see and read about factory farming, it becomes clear that animal rights are definitely not taken into consideration, by the inhumane treatment the animals receive. An example being: calves that are used for veal are separated from their mothers when they are only a few days old, and placed in individual crates, or stalls, where they have barely enough room to move. They are somtimes chained by their necks to the crates or stalls, and suffer sickness and disease, until the time they are slaughtered.
